Manuscript Re

You'll receive one page of detailed feedback for your entire manuscript, a call with your editor to discuss your project, and an editing plan for what kind of edits you need going forward. This option is great for any manuscript. If after the Manuscript overview, you choose to do one of our other editing services, the cost of the overview will be used as your deposit.

Manuscript Critique

Get a comprehensive overview of your novel with a 10-15 page editorial letter that provides feedback on character analysis, story beats, structure, and other important elements. Includes advice on creating an editing plan, recommendations for further reading or online coursework, and a 1 hour video chat to discuss the feedback.

Chapter Critique

A deeper look at your novel than the Manuscript Critique. Each chapter will receive detailed feedback on its strengths and weaknesses. Included is the full editorial letter and everything included in the Manuscript Critique. This option is also available for looking at smaller sections of your novel, i.e. the first 5 chapters.

Developmental Edit

The same in depth look at your novel from the Chapter Critique, but with margin notes containing suggestions or feedback throughout. This option is great for getting into the structure of your story and really fine tuning what is and isn't working.

Line Edit

With this package you get line by line edits to help refine language, tone, and pacing, as well as margin notes containing feedback and suggestions. You'll receive an editorial letter that will detail the strengths and weaknesses of your manuscript. This is best for manuscripts that have been through a developmental edit of some kind, as it is looking at the prose more than story structure.
